Terrapin AcquisitionsTerrapin Acquisitions, LLC, a member of the Terrapin Group, focuses on acquiring and developing new real estate development opportunities.

Terrapin Acquisitions consists of a team of real estate experts who identify and underwrite potential new deals. Once a decision is made to pursue a particular opportunity, the team negotiates and contracts with the seller, performs all market and physical due diligence and takes all steps necessary to close the property, including structuring the financial and legal aspects of the transaction.

Working closely with Terrapin Properties, LLC, the development arm of the Terrapin Group, Terrapin Acquisitions also develops the property. This includes obtaining all necessary entitlements, both infrastructure and governmental approvals for the real estate. Through its extensive knowledge of the marketplace, Terrapin Acquisitions is also charged with the responsibility of developing the program for the project. This includes the unit mix and size, price points, features, amenity packages and any retail aspects of the development.

Although most projects that Terrapin Acquisitions acquires and develops are turned over to Terrapin Properties to execute, Terrapin Acquisitions has had success working with other developers, who purchase a project after the entitlement and other necessary approvals have been obtained.
